In standard high-hand poker, the best five-card hand wins at showdown. In Texas Hold’em you form that hand from your two private cards and five community cards, using zero, one or two private cards.

Important details
A royal flush is the highest straight flush: A-K-Q-J-10 of one suit. Aces can also be low in A-2-3-4-5, the lowest straight. Suits do not break ties in standard Texas Hold’em. If players have identical best five-card hands, the pot is split.
